Wireless Network DesignBusiness Wi-Fi planned, cabled and installed for reliable coverage

Wi-Fi That Works in Every Corner of Your Space

Your team expects Wi-Fi to just work, in every office, conference room and break area. Dead zones, dropped video calls and slow connections almost always trace back to how the network was planned: too few access points, the wrong locations or cabling that cannot support current equipment.

Infinity Networks designs and installs business wireless networks across Dallas-Fort Worth. Because we specialize in cabling, we plan access point placement and the cabling behind it together, so coverage, capacity and power are right from the start. For ongoing support, we work alongside trusted managed service partners.

Wireless Services

From design and cabling to installation and ongoing support.

Wireless Design

Access point placement and configuration planned for robust coverage across your floor plan.

Access Point Cabling

Dedicated cabling to each access point, sized for current Wi-Fi speeds and Power over Ethernet.

Installation & Mounting

Access points installed and mounted in the planned locations, cleanly and securely.

Network Packages

Complete wired and wireless connectivity packages for small and medium-sized businesses.

Managed Service Partners

Ongoing network support and monitoring through our trusted managed service partners.

Cellular Coverage (DAS)

Weak cell signal is a separate problem from Wi-Fi. Our distributed antenna systems fix in-building cellular coverage.

What Goes Into a Reliable Wireless Network

Good Wi-Fi is planned, not guessed. We account for the factors that determine how a wireless network performs in your specific space.

Coverage

Building materials matter

Concrete, glass, metal and elevator cores absorb and reflect signal. Placement accounts for the building, not just the square footage.

Capacity

Users and devices

Each access point can serve only so many devices well. Busy areas such as conference rooms and open offices need more capacity.

Placement

Ceiling-mounted, unobstructed

Access points work best mounted in open areas, away from obstructions, at consistent spacing.

Power & cabling

PoE over Cat6A

Access points are powered over their network cable. Cat6A supports the multi-gigabit speeds and power needs of current access points.

How We Work

One accountable team from planning to final documentation.

01

Assess

Review your floor plan, building construction, user count and how each area is used.

02

Design

Plan access point locations, cabling routes and network requirements with you and your IT provider.

03

Cable & Install

Install dedicated access point cabling and mount the access points.

04

Verify

Confirm coverage across the space and hand off documentation and support to your IT team or our managed service partners.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about business Wi-Fi.

It depends on your floor plan, building materials and how many people and devices use each area. Rules of thumb based on square footage alone often lead to dead zones or overloaded access points, so we plan from your actual space and usage.

Common causes include distance from the nearest access point, walls and building materials blocking signal, interference, too many devices on one access point and outdated equipment. A design review usually identifies the cause quickly.

Newer Wi-Fi standards handle more devices at once and add capacity, and Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 can use the 6 GHz band, which is less congested. Upgrading access points may also require cabling that supports higher speeds and power, which we evaluate as part of the design.

Most business access points are powered by Power over Ethernet through their network cable. We recommend Cat6A for new installations because it supports the multi-gigabit speeds and power levels of current access points.

Yes. Weak cellular signal is different from Wi-Fi and is solved with a distributed antenna system (DAS) that boosts carrier signal inside the building.
